Hello and welcome to my website! I am Debamanyu, and I completed my Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in August 2024. 

My research work focuses on the political economy of the energy transition and related industrial policies. My research and teaching interests are in Political Economy, Environmental Policy, Economic Development, and Macroeconomics. I hold an M.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an M.Sc. from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, and a B.Sc. from the University of Calcutta.
